RAD02

An all terrain potable robot that can climb stairs and has a telescopic sensor that can monitor radiation, flue gas, temperature etc.  The remotely operated telescopic boom provides a coverage area in a 3.5 meter radius hemisphere. Presently equipped with a GM tube allows remote logging of radiation data. Video logging and report generation. With 3 degrees of freedom it can accurately position itself within a few millimeters. It’s a excellent robot for indoor / outdoor applications in nuclear installations. The entire robot weighs less than 60 kg. The entire design permits the robot base to tilt due to uneven terrains up to 40 degrees in any direction without toppling over.

It also has uses in checking leakages in external tanks, valves, pipe joints, Outer building surfaces and ground level measurements. Learn more….

RAD04

Originally developed for industrial temperature measurement in restricted spaces. RAD 04 is a boon to all health physicists. Radiation levels in HEPA filters can be monitored all the way from ground level to a height of 5 meters using a remotely operated telescopic boom equipped with a GM tube. 3 degrees of freedom permits accurate positioning of the sensor. The extremely compact robot can pass through narrow passages as small as 400 mm. The slender telescopic design permits the telescope to pass through upper level service ledges to measure all the filters. The Control desk located at a safe distance positions the sensor to an accuracy of a few millimeters and logs the radiation data and generates multiple reports. Multiple cameras assist in positioning & guiding the robot. The robot can be provided for wipe down or wash down applications. It can also be kept inside the filter room, automatically docking & charging itself. Learn more….
